Question Pauls

Has anyone here ever had a Pauls High Performance cold air kit on their truck?....maybe know someone? I was told that it was very good . Was told it dynoed out a full 15hp gain. No other changes needed.

Ok 356, I know you probably have pictures and a dyno sheet on this.....lol...

Talking here ya go

I got this guys number from *whispers* Ford Racing *shhhh* and was told by an unnamed source that this guy was "really good". That his kit was excellent. He is into L's and Cobra R's. Here is his address online. paulshp.com just got it today.

This guy will give you all some serious Christmas list additions. This is also the place to address all those chip problems you were all asking/talking about. From what I hear/see he can not only dyno your truck, but also dial in the chips to match/assist the mods you already have.

Wow...

That a new performance site I haven't seen. He should get his butt on these forums if he wants to sell his product. Maybe you could give him a little hint...or I will - I would be interested to see how his products compare to reputive companies such as JDM, REM, PSP, etc.

There is nothing special about their intake kit. Infact, it goes along with the old thinking of just suck all the air you can. The next step is to suck all the COLD air you can, which would require an enclosure to keep out engine heat.

Hey guys,

I have installed the Paul's upper intake (if that is what you are talking about) along with the Accufab throttle body. It made a big difference in SOTP feel!! I even gained 2 psi of boost from these 2 boltons alone. This is the extrude honed upper intake from Paul's HP.
Additionally, I've added REM's intake pipe (painted dark shadow gray- SWEET!) and haven't noticed any performance gains by my pants-O'-meter soo far, but it looks killer! I ended up using REM's stainless bracket or cradle, which holds the end of my conical air filter away from cruise control box. It was clanging around and made all kinds of mysterious sounds that took me awhile to figure out. lol

I will be doing some dyno time, as well as dyno-tuning with a new chip in 2 weeks from now. I'll update on the results, but still seeing 11 psi boost without chip and NO problems.
