Lost/stolen HD key? read here for more!
I've come across a set of H-D keys. I'm in Kansas and these were presented to me when I had meantioned i had lost one of my 02' sets. The key is for an 01' H-D. last 3 of the vin is 351. if someone knows they lost one of thier sets email me at eodpinky3@aol.com with the remaining vin (keeping things honest here) and i'll get in touch with you and see what can be done about getting the key back to you.
I was asked if they key was mine, and immediately said no (had found my 2nd set) they 01 factory key looks nothing like the 02's either. found out some of the background info as to where they were found. so, if you know of someone or you yourself have lost a set gimme a holler. would love to get it back to the proper individual!

they 01 factory key looks nothing like the 02's either.
don't the 01 HD keys look like this? I could have sworn they did. I know the 00 HD keys are just the plain ford keys, but i was almost positive the 01 and 02 HD keys were the same?

I'm not sure if the 01's are like the 02's. but the dealer "stock" tag attatched to the key says that it is an 01' HD and the key is plain no colored emblems, just engraved "FORD" on both sides.

he probably got the wrong set of keys then. the 01 and 02's were supposed to get the jeweled HD/Ford logo's on them. I know of a few other 01 and 02 guys who didn't get them though, so it may be the same case there also. i'm not saying its not to a 01.

well, the beer i'll take. been on the boards since sept 23. (2 days after i got the truck) and enjoying the pics/mods that folk have done. i figured this would be the best place to find an owner. oh..any of you with an 01' HD, could ya send me the "non-critical" portion of the VIN up to the build number...perhaps i can turn in a complete vin and run it that way to locate the owner/selling dealership.
