I was browsing through those sites also last night.
Can someone do this pic on a black L or better yet a black 02 HD?
Dual Cowl Scoop

Thanks!

do a search for "its a hood bonanza" also, and there's a thread titled that with tons of hoods, prices, and pics, and weights of each. tons of good info and just about every hood listed there

as for the ones you posted

this hood's prety cool. matches the body lines nicely, too bad the scoop openings are fake and sealed off

as for this hood. OMG where's the barf bag at? LoL! Reminds me of a cross between a set of fake lund hood scoops welded on, and a late 80's honda civic CRX ram air hood. I feel sick now. LoL! Just my .02$, but i think this hood is the 2nd fugliest i've ever seen. 1st being the Rooster hood

the last site wont' let me take a pic from there, but they have the keystone good hood that outnumbered has. thats a cool hood, plus functional option

yup thats the one. when i right clicked a little box came up and said copywrited pic or something. thanks for posting it though

my 5 favorite hoods are these, and in this order
-Cervini's ram air (i wonder why , be even before i had it, this was my favorite)
-Keystone good hood like on outnumbered's
-Proglass Shaker hood
-Proglass cowl hood with dual gauges in the cowl
-the one in the 1st link you posted. cobra hood or something
not that this matters though Its cool to see interesting hoods on HD's and different from the most popular choices

Cobra Ram Hood

I don't like the Cobra Ram hood much. To me, it looks like wet paint that smeared in a wind tunnel. Just doesn't match the truck well in my opinion.

I've been thinking of getting a Cowl hood, but decided that if I do, I want to have a paint scheme on it.

I do like the Cervini's Ram Air too. But mostly I want something different that looks as good.

thats different. i've only seen them on chevies, so i can't picture in my head what it'll look like on a ford, so you'll definatly have to post pics when/if you get it
doesn't look like the scoops are open though

Lucky, let me know when you get that hood on. that thing is awsome!!! functional cowl induction, not just an opening at the back of the hood. We'll have to meet up before ya leave for TX. hopefully the spring HD cruise will be before then.
are you going to put the gauges in the back? if so which ones?

356 to the rescue

i heard its only a 3" rise, but it looks bigger than that. definatley my favorite cowl hood! cervini's is awsome too, but the fact this one is functional, holds gauges, and more rounded to match the body lines wins my vote. can't wait to see it on a HD!

anyway, now for the pics

here's the underside. you can see how there is a channel for the air to enter the back of teh hood and routed over the intake

i think they are working on inserts for the back of the hood also so they look cooler than this. the best part though is the gauges!
i like the double rise look too
