Don't think I like the new striping. Since I live about 3 miles from the Oak Ridge lot, may have to drive down and take an up close look. But nobody better buy from them.

There was one on ebay about 2 weeks ago (I think Josh posted it) It was from the same people I believe. It's weird that they put pics of the 2000's and 2001's on the auction. I like the striping but don't care for the new lower valence or two-tone paint. (I feel like I am repeating myself here) Anyways...'03 HD's are beginning to hit showroom floors around the country (We even have them down here in Florida at one of the big dealerships which is usually where they pop up last)

found out yesterday my local dealer cancelled the order for their 03

anyway, i like how they say its a 03 HD, but post a pic of a 01 HD for the main photo, then just one pic of the 03 and then a pic of the 00, then the 01, then the 02's emblem, then the 03 interior. can't they get their act together? they seem to be a bunch of total idiots!

In that 2nd auction, the lower valance doesn't look too bad on black cuz it blends in more, but on the silver its down right fugly IMO. LoL. I'm not sure about the pinstripe on the back of the black 03. the front looks good cuz its thin, but the back almost looks like just a piece of white tape. Its probably different in person though. i can't wait to see one up close!!

 

Well good. I kept looking at that valance and thought, what is the big deal? I didn't think it was bad at all, just more squared off than before. Will have to check it out in the two tone to see what everyone is talking about. But....I definitely don't like the stripe.

 

There is another dealer with an 03 on ebay today. It is the two tone one. The valance is much more pronounced regarding the squareness, but I don't think it's that bad. I DON'T like the two tone however.....

its truck #19, and the low # two toneds had some issues with the paint quality. i wouldn't want to pay that much for a truck and have a bunch of paint defects

 

I can second that! I have some paint problems on my 01.
