2003 HD in FLORIDA! (couple pics)

So it's late and night and I am told that the first '03 HD has hit the lots in Florida. So I drive about 1 hour in new H2 (check other posts) to Sawgrass Ford to check out the new baby (Its about 11PM) So we get there and the guard tells us we shouldn't be there...but I say how I drove just to see the HD and what not so he's like "O.K." We talked to him for a while (nice guy) He told us how he has done body guard for matt damon and a bunch of famous people. Well...here are the pics I took (we couldn't get inside because he didn't have key and it was late...I tried to guess the code but no luck)

You can see the guard at the left talking to my two friends (The big one on the right weighs 330lbs and the guard was about 360lbs!)

New fenders as you can see

The fenders are new...It's like an extra piece they put on instead of just curving down.

oh, you mean the fender flares. They just attach over where the fender would normally end. THey came on the 02's also

Looks good! Thanks for the pics. Can't wait to check one out in person. I'm still happy I bought the 02 DSG.

The sheetmetal itself on those fenders look new to me even if one ignores the bolt on flares. Looks really nice.

its not sheetmetal, its a fiberglass/plastic compound type stuff. or something like that
but its the same exact fender as the 01 and 02's got. they didn't change the fenders for the last year of this model pickup. Its just the way the light is hitting it, it makes it look like it flares out. but no changes since the screws 1st came out

Very Nice Indeed!

(but the '00 model still really stands out the most to me)
