airbrushed flames...
ok i have a wendsday delievery of my cervinis ram hood...
ive decided to get the stock flames airbrushed on instead of reapplying the stock decal...
yep...big decision...im going with dupont CHROMALUSION in a purefire prizm color...it looks very similar to the color we have stock but when you change angles it goes to a orange-gold.
the guy who does the art work is the big kahuna here on surfboards and custom show cars...so im very excited...
what do you guys think...anybody see this paint on a gray vehicle
i have a week to change my mind

sounds awsome! definately post pics and good luck with everything. don't forget to either bake the cervini's hood, or have it on the truck for 5 days in the sun. So are the flames going to be the same pattern as stock? Maybe if he has some extra paint have him do a HD graphic on the tonneau if you have one or the taillgate?
cant wait to see how it looks. it sounds awsome

BillP...my pretty truck you helped me get from Hayward Ford is in the shop till after thanksgiving...
Harley#356...ive got the painter doing the flames in the same manner as the stock decal was.
he says i wont see a difference in shape, just the extra color prism effect...im doing research to get an idea how this will look on the shadow gray...im thinking it will be awesome...
maybe a touch of the colored flames accenting the tailgate,or ram air inlet...im not sure about that yet...
so far im in to 1500.00 on the custom paint and hood..

I also am very excited. I don't think I have see any pictures of an HD with painted stripes on. At least we got someone willing to take the risk. Be sure to take LOTS of pics at every angle so we can get an idea of what it looks like. I am sure it will look much better in person.
Definately Post Pics!!!
I've been contemplating this for some time now, but don't have the scratch to get it done. I was quoted $1500-$1800 for flames and the hood as well! Maybe tax time next year!
Please post pics when you get it! I'm very anxious to see what it looks like.
I have been toying with widening the flames a bit in the back and possibly painting the tonneau (when I get it).
