As far as insurance goes, I would rather them not get too particular. It helps keep my cost down.

somebody on the other site said that ford refers to the screws beds as flaresides. but it doesn't make much sense to me, cuz the super cab HD"s have the flareside beds. the screws beds have no steps, or flares, so i dunno
The supercrew bed is the flareside from the tailgate forward but does not have the steps like normal flaresides because it is too short. It uses flareside taillights like the lightning ones.
I've still got mine, its folded in quarters and in the manual. I scanned it and made a copy so at shows i can put it out on the windshield or something, and not have to worry about it getting lost or damaged
