Autolights with fog lights?

Is there a way/replacement for our headlight **** to allow autolights with the ability to turn on fog lights? I think it's stupid you can't turn on the fog lights without going all the way to the right.

yup, there's 3 ways you can do it

1. splice #5 and #12, and your fogs will be on all the time (w/ parking or heads) so you can't shut them off, unless its in the off positiong

2. splice those wires, and file down the switch. Lets you turn them on or off in whichever position you want

3. the way i did it cuz i didn't want them on all the time, and didn't want to screw with teh switch, cuz one screw up and its 75 bucks. You tap a wire into the #5 and tap another wire into the #12, run those to wires down under the dash, and connect them to a toggle switch. Now you can have them on whenever you want, or have it act like stock by flipping the switch. took me about 15 minutes to rig everything up, and the switch is right in reach, but you can't see it. This way you can turn them on and off, and don't have to mess with damaging the main switch.

its just up to what you are willing to do as which mod you do.

I just spliced mine this week. It was easy, once I got the switch assembly out. Make sure you don't screw up your dash prying screw drviers around in there. There are three metal tabs, that when you push them with the screwdriver, the whole switch and face will come out.

yeah, use a really thin screwdriver. there is a clip at the bottom center, left center, and top right, once those are released it slides right out and the wire's are #ed on teh back of the harness

it definately looks cool seeing the truck come towards you with just the fogs and corner lights on!
now i just gotta get whiter bulbs for the fogs and headlights
