i just bought a 2000 hd f-150 from an old man who couldnt tell me much about the truck so i was wondering how many of the trucks were made for the us & canada. also he said he recieved a special leather jacket for buying this truck and i would like one because his was about 2 sizes two small thanks for any and all help on this matters

 

I just went through a lot of research on my 2000 which I purchased new in Nov of 2000. The total production volume came from Harley#356. Total pruduction was 8,197 which was more than the target of 7500. Not sure how many came up here to Canada. The Jacket is not leather but has leather trim and the the HD & F150 logos on it. I think I saw one on ebay recently. I also recall that you could order them through ford parts but not sure if they still carry them.

the guy should have gotten a gift pack also that was a leather wrapped and embossed box with a HDf150 keychain and an owners emblem inside with the build#, vin#, build date, and owners name.
Does the truck have the limited harley edition fiberglass tonneau cover on it? if it does, keep an eye out cuz they are notorious for separating
