Question Magnaflow...which part #?

I want to get a magnaflow muffler. I want it to be loud, but i don't want to lose too much back pressure. I'm gonna stick with SIDO but get the shortest (loudest) SIDO muffler. cost less money also.
anyway, i heard http://shop.ivalueinternet.com/bigex...ction/home.htm is the cheapest place to get them?

anyway, still not totally sure which muffler i need.
It is 2.5 in and 2.5 out right? i'm almost positive on this but just wanna make sure

then would it be the 14218 SI/DO 5x8 14" muffler?
$88.10

does anybody know if they are offered in mirror finish?

thanks for any input

here's the link to the magnaflow's

I got duel 2 1/2 in and duel 2 1/2 out no chamber magnaflow and love it on a 2002 HD
I tried flowmaster but way too load for me
they make muffler in aluminum or stainless and alum about 85.00 and SS about 135.00
the sound very throatie and mellow not load and abraisive
sounds very strong and dangerous

Josh,
It is 3" single in 2 1/2" dual out. They have stainless and aluminum. I went with the aluminum 'cause it is cheaper and you never really see the muffler. To each his own!

Hey 356
I think the 14221 is the muffler (SIDO 3.0 in and 2.5 out) is the muffler for you. I believe all the stainless Magnaflows are mirror finish while the aluminized product is "rough". At least thats what I got and I had aluminized first and stainless after. If you want a rumble you will probably like the tone. I found the Magnaflows loud, but thats just me.

One more dumb question, you do have a 3" pipe off the manifolds to feed this muffler right?

Yeah, its a 3" pipe coming into the muffler, and dual 2.5" pipes exiting the muffler to the tips. Harley2001nj confirmed this for me also cuz he has a magnaflow also
