SuperCharger Question

This may sound dumb, but oh well. I installed a new boost gage, and I don't get any boost until around 2300. At 70 mph it says vacum 10, and no boost, but when I push it to the floor it will hit 10 pounds of boost. At 4000 it makes 10 pounds of boost, and I wanted to know if this is right.

The boost curve should be linear with the RPMs.

Thanks 1JT. It just didn't look right. I always thought that a supercharger would always make boost, regardless of engine RPM.

if you are just cruising, you wont get any boost..
as soon as you start to get heavy with the lead foot, then the boost will start to climb..
