looking to buy an L or 03 cobra and want to know if any one has any x-plan forms

If I remember, you can't buy a SVT car or truck on the x-plan. I tried to get a Lightning and they said no way.

the HD's aren't technically SVT's

guys have gotten HD's on xplan and a plan and all those

 

I think if may depend on the dealer as far as purchasing SVT or HDs from them. I understand they have the right to offer you the price or not so I guess it would depend if they want to move inventory or not.

I bought my HD on x-plan as a lot of other guys did and I would think you could buy an L or Cobra if you found a dealer willing to do it.

That is correct Bill. The dealers here in the SC area were about a 50/50 split on the L's and HD's. All were NO WAY on the 03 Cobras. I am sure that this time of year most dealers will sell using the X or A plans.
Well worth the paperwork though. Got me in my 02 HD for just over 31K.

 

how do you guys get x-plan

 

The Company I work for is involved with Ford so they allow us to purchase under the X-Plan. The A-Plan is the ticket if you have a family member working for Ford.

 

Majorrock is absolutely right. I also work for a company that offers X-plan though it seems there are some who have somehow got X-plan PINs through a website of some sort.

 

I got my X-plan by faxing in a form that was e-mailed to me, BUT it had to be in my Sept. 30.

Now if I could just put it to use...

 

Ford employees also have a number of x-plan pins they can give out to people. They are allocated a certain number that they can give to anyone. You may check into finding someone who can do that. I know I've seen a few in the forums before.
