Just sayin that everything is still on for tomorrow...RAIN OR SHINE!!! Got a call from mikes today, and he said he roped off 19 parking spots for us, and i can pick up the tickets for the lunch at the welcome desk...so i'm guessing that means we will get free lunch

nope, just finished washing it, and i'll hit it with the quick detailer when i get there if i don't hit rain on the way, or the truck doesn't get too nasty on the highways.

Unfortunately I had to work today. I run systems for a large Retail chain. How did it go? Did the weather hold up for you guys? Come hell or high water I will make to the next one. I am guessing that will be in the spring. Sorry to let you guys down.

sorry you couldn't make it. i was thinking it would be sort of a let down at first, since i had like 20 people say they were definately going, then about the beginning of this week, people starting saying they couldn't make it, or didn't want to go cuz it was gonna rain, and it was raining in the morning, and it left me with about 10 trucks left to go, but it turned out to be a great day! 7 trucks in total showed up, which isn't that bad for a 1st meet, and the weather didn't help out much either, but it turned out to be a beautiful day. Sunny, warm, and no rain at all during the meet, and free lunch for everybody that showed up. Still a good number of trucks though for a 1st time meet, because there was another truck club there and it was either their 2nd or 3rd year and they only had 2 trucks, so i consider it a successful meet. I want to organize something in the spring, and also do mikes famous in teh fall again, but i'll try to organize it a little earlier, and make it so it doesn't occur on the same date as any other big shows on the east coast so we can maximize the # of guys who can come. i want to try to make it a yearly thing. Anyway, it was great to meet everybody that did make it, and i'm sure more of you's will be there for next time. just need to get the word out and all that. pics will be up shortly
