aluminum drive shaft on 02hd?

I had an 01 supercrew before my 02 HD. It had a 1pc aluminum drive shaft instead of the two piece in the current 02HD. My understanding is that they did this to reduce NVH. Anyone know if they 01 screw aluminum driveshaft will fit? The platform is identical. The only thing I can figure is the 4r100 tranny is sized differently or the aluminum driveshaft won't hold up to the abuse. If so, why not try it to see if some of the "missing" HP from the HD vs. the L can be "recovered"...

the L's have a one piece aluminum drive shaft, i wouldn't see why it won't handle the power. yeah its gonna be a little longer, but i'd think it would still be fine. don't take my word on that though if it breaks
