Line-X or Rhino Lining?

Which does everyone prefer? Also, does anyone know of some good sprayers in the NJ area?

Check out the September edition of Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords (MM&FF). They had an article in there about a roll on bedliner that one of the editors did in his Lightning. They have a very good description of the product and from what he said it was a very quality product that was pretty cheap. I think it was around $99.00 for the kit, you can get the kit at Kragen if you are in Cali or I am sure many other parts store carry it.

But if you want to go spend the money for Rhino to do it I understand.

Go with Line-X.

If you did a poll between Line-X or Rhino, I would guess about 70 percent would say Line-X.

yeah, i think one company is Herculiner that makes the do it yourself one. i'll probably use it on my ranger when i get a used one as a daily driver. Gonna get a bedrug for the HD

if i did get a spray in liner, i would go wtih linex. i've seen pics of them on here and they look great! probably better than a do it yourself type, so if it was for the HD, i'd say spend the extra money on a professionally done one

I have Line-X. I researched the 2 and went with them since the product is put on hot (like 350 degrees) and dries almost immediately. I waited for the truck. It only took 2 hours.

The price ended up being a little less in my area too. Like $100 less than Rhino.

The Rhino is put on cold and requires a longer time to dry. I think you have to drop off the truck in the morning and let them have it all day and when you get it back you still have to wait a while before you can use the bed.

I have had both... Line-X in my '97 and Rhino in my '01. I much preferred the Rhino. The Ljne-X is 'harder and grainier'--stuff seems to slide around a lot more on it. The Rhino stays more 'pliable'... gives better sound deadening and seems 'grippier'--stuff stays put. As far as price--call around. I called Rhino's 800 # and got all the dealers within my area. I called them all and they all charged different prices! Range from $299 to $450!!! . Some charged extra for any color other than black... some let you choose grey (get the grey) for no extra charge. Don't really think you can go wrong with either company--I just really liked the Rhino better.

Sorry, BadGene, I disagree. Go with the spray on over anything inserted over the bed. Seen too many trucks that have had 'drop-in' liners that ended up with a lot of rust and rot underneath.

As far as Bedrug specifically it depends what you are going to haul. If you actually have to use your truck for hauling I doubt that the Bedrug is the best choice. If you just put suitcases and stuff back there and have a campershell or lid then it may be okay.

Have heard a lot of guys install bedrugs just to yank them out later and go with something else. Guess it's to each their own though.

If you haul china dishes get a bedrug. If you haul manly things go with a spray in liner.

Not sure if it is available in the US, but up here we get mostly Rhino or Armagard. I have had trucks done with both, and cosmetically the Armagard is much nicer than Rhino.

Haven't heard of Armagard in the states.
