Are you sure ignorant drives is number 10
I know what you mean Harley#356, it seems no matter how far out of the way I park when I come back out there is someone next to me. No dings yet, thank goodness, but still annoys me.
I guess it's just the looks this truck gets. Someone sees it and parks next to it to get a better look.
Oh well!!

Parking
I try to make a point of parking next to an equally nice car. I was out near Palm Springs a couple weeks ago at the outlet mall and parked next to a brand new Vette; who had made it a point to park further away as well.
Malls and shopping centers are the worst. I especially hate going to Costco for anything, even in my old beat up truck.

and its also better to park next to a 4 door car than a 2 door, cuz their doors are usually shorter, and therefore don't need to be opened as wide to get out, but yeah, i try to park next to other expensive cars or suv's when i have to
I agree with you guys but you also have to look at the care of the car you park next to. Just because it's expensive or high-end doesn't mean it's taken care of.
The other day a guy pulls up next to me in a White Escalade. I swear it had not been washed since the day it was bought. It was disgusting. BTW, we haven't had rain here in over 6 months and you could tell the dirt had been baked on this thing.
Really disgusts me to see this but I was always brought up to take care of my stuff. Makes me think this guy has always had the best or had stuff given to him so he doesn't appreciate it.
Don't get me wrong...some vehicles get dirty since they are used for work, etc. but you can tell the difference when the dirt has been on there a while.
Anyway, thanks for letting me rant a little...
