Sorry but you can add all you want to your truck and your not going to get any better. Only option is to keep it slow and keep your foot out of it. I've added true dual exhaust, modded the intake, put a hard cover on, and if I saw .5mpg I'd be surprised. Sure sounds and looks better though so what the he!!.

Cool

i don't have a HD but i have found the trick for gas mileage. (atleast for my truck). it had a lot to do with my freeway cruising speed. if i cruised 75 or higher...the mileage would be completely terrible. i was getting 13-14 mpg for my v6! if i keep it at 75 or less i now get 16-17 mpg.

as far as time spent on the highway...i would say about 70% of my total driving is freeway driving. so if you also do a lot of freeway driving then i recomend a low cruising speed. stay out of the left lanes! good luck.

i think Air force one says you get a 1mpg gain in mileage. Not bad over time, and its defiantely worth the power increase, but then that kind of defeats the purpose for gas mileage

a cover would help though. is that the price for it painted already?

Go with the AFI, and $900 is too high for the cover!
Jmo...
