I am hoping that with the help of F-150online's membership that I might find someone who would know of someone who might have a rear 2002 HD seat available. Either side would do. I have carefully measured and another seat would fit sweet in the place of the rear console. There have just too many times when my daughter's have a friend and I need the five passenger seating. Please let me know if you might know where I could find one. The price from a dealer is just flat ridiculous so that is not an option. I saw a totaled HD on the site but it was up for auction to a wrecking yard. I would appreciate any assistance.

THis guy is on the other site and has a blue flamed 01 HD. He had his upholster make the seat covers and now the inserts are blue and he put a ford emblem on the middle seat. Too bad the sizes of the seats don't match, it would have looked alot better. good luck

They do that so that people can't easily build a replica. I used to have a 1984 Hurst/Olds Cutlass with the Hurst Lightning Rod Shifter. The car came with a scoop on the hood and a spoiler on the deck lid. If you crashed it, the rear spoiler was 1000.00. Aftermarket companies soon started making them, but GM wanted a nice price for them. How different is the back seats from the front on the Harley? I have never paid that much attn. I know the back seats look smaller, is that true?

anyway, i was thinking, can you buy a regular screw with 4 bucket seats? If you can, then i'm sure it would be cheaper to get one of those either from the dealer, or a junkyard, and then take it to an upholsterer and have him redo the seat in black leather. The only thing missing then would be the seat emblem. youd have 3 choices with that then. either no emblem, different emblem like ford emblem, or pull an emblem off your regular seat and take it to the dealer for a new emblem cuz the warranty should cover it

 

Yeah, but that's cheating. I bet you can order the emblem from the dealer.

I got the poster, thanks! The seat was actually listed in many parts and pieces rather than a whole item. I was hoping that someone may know which wrecking yard purchased that totaled 2002 HD F-150 that was posted on the site a couple of weeks ago? There was a pair of mint 2000 HD F-150 front seats on e-bay a while back which went without meeting the reserve but I don't recall who the seller was, but the front seats are quite a bit larger.

if you check on ebay every now and then you should find them...here is a pair (from a supercab) that ended http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1860264429 it only ended at $1800...2 ppl could have teamed up and bought it and each could have taken a seat. hope this gives you guys some ideas.

I've thought of doing the same thing... even checked with the dealer when I bought my truck and found out the same thing--you can only get the seats in parts, making it prohibitively expensive. If you find someone who wants to sell, I'll take the other one!

 

KingRanchSC02, that would be a good idea, but they would need to be from a 2002 HD, because every year of the HD's have a totally redesigned interior, so it wouldn't match, and it would have to be back seats cuz the fronts are larger. thanks for finding the link for us though

can anybody get the part # for the seat HD emblem?
