Bassani cat-back w/ X-pipe next...

I have been really contemplating trying to make the Bassani cat-back (for 2nd Gen Lightning) work on my new '02 HD. I think it could work with a few modifications, but I haven't checked out the hanger locations (for Bassani) underneath of my truck yet. I originally had this exhaust system on my '01 L, which I removed before trading it in on the '02 HD. I would like the exhaust tips to exit just behind the nerf bar on pass side, after rear door.
I'm thinking this would give a deeper exhaust note at cruising speeds and better flow at WOT, just like on the L. Plus, the polished 3" stainless steel tips are a bonus!

What are your opinions and even experiences with this mod?

Someone else on here (don't remember who) has this system on their truck... you should be able to make it work. I hear Magnaflow is coming with a complete catback for our trucks within the next couple of months. If it is like any of their other systems it will be first rate and be priced on the money. I'll likely end up going that route.

That is the exhaust that I put on my truck, and it works and sounds great. The only problem that I had was that I had to cut off some of the forward pipe to get the X-Pipe to fit.
