Anyone from here that drove by Southbound 680 by Sunol around 8:00 am with his 01 HD with clear tails? A few questions about your clear tails.

I wasn't driving my 02, couldn't get his attention with my 4 banger Tercel

Don't know about the 01 with clear tails but I drive Northbound 680 around 5:45 each morning in Pleasanton.

I've noticed a couple new 02s in Livermore that have clear L tails. Almost wanted to find out if Ford switched in mid-production.

Anyways, you looking to get some? I want to go with Ls on mine.

I wanted to take a real good look at them up close and personal. Couldn't really tell if they were L tails or not. I haven't decided yet to get clear tails or not, I'm not too crazy about them.

I need to really get a closer look to make up my mind. When I bought my 02, I test drove a gray 02 from Shamrock with some aftermarket APC tails and a drop.

Two days later when I was dropping my 02 for the alarm install, it has been bought and talked to the gal and she lives in Livermore. For the life of me, can't remember her name.

If they did change mid-production I would nag my dealer to give me some!

5:45 AM, man that's way to early for me

I hit the road at about 8:00 am and be in Cupertino by 9:10, if you see the 02 heading southbound with a big Raiders sticker in the back that's me!

 

believe me, the didn't change mid production. the only things they changed mid production were the steering wheel. they changed that a few times. and the 1st few HD's had the curved a pillar handles then they went to teh boxy ones. there may be a few other slight details, but they definately didn't do the tails. its just a really common mod.

But how do you deal with that traffic at that time or morning?

I get to work early to beat the traffic then bust a$$ out of there by 3pm to beat most of the traffic home. I also work from home 1 day a week and have every other Friday off

Oh well, so you got that big Raider decal...you going to the game on Sunday?? I'll be there. Not taking my truck tho. A little leary about that.
