I installed a new Accufab Throttle Body, and forgot to reconnect the TPS and the engine check light came. When the light came I remembered that I had forgot to reconnect it. Once reconnected the light still stays on. Does anyone know how to fix this, or do I need to take the truck to the dealer to reset it?

 

first, make sure your tps setting is correct. Second, disconnect the battery negative to clear the code...

that should do it.

I'm gonna make one day at least, probably friday nite and Sat. morning. The "relationship" is on the rocks, lots of accusations about infidelity and honesty. There will be a visit from "a specialist" soon. I think a divorce is possible.

Thanks for the info guys. That worked. Check engine light is gone. Started to worry there for awhile. For you guys going to Fun Ford Weekend in Dallas, we all should get together and go as a group. I am going on Saturday, but not sure what class I am going to racing in yet.
