Truck Cover

Anybody have one of these?

I'm going to be getting a used car or something as a daily driver, and will have my 85 f150 for work, so the HD will become a weekend cruiser I want to get a full truck cover to protect it from the elements in winter cuz it sits outside (no garage ) and it'll also come in handy when i'm getting ready for auto shows and if it happens to look like rain, just cover it up and good to go. I was just wondering if anybody had any experiences with the cover's ford sells and if its good/bad, and if it'll even fit with the bigger lower valance of the HD.

i wanted to get it cuz i like how it has the HD logo on it, but if its not that good of a quality cover, i'll pass up on it.

I know i've heard good things about cal car covers. i'll probably check them out also.

anybody know approximate pricing on truck covers?

thanks!

I've looked into them for mine. The best cover from Griots is about $300.

There are many different materials and the best for you depends on the kind of elements it will be exposed to.

They're all rather expensive since our trucks require the bigest size they make. Griots was competitive with the other sites I visited and carry high quality brands that come with good warranties. They can even put a logo of your choice on it. If they don't have the logo you want you can send them art to use.

Do you have their site? I'll check it out. Right now i'm leaning towards a cal car cover. I was looking through their catalog, and i'm looking at either the "stormweave" "noah" or "superweave"
I'm gonna email them to see what they recommend for what i want cuz i'm not sure which would be best.
thanks

I looked into a cover a while back but I was just looking for a dust cover for in the garage since mine isn't exposed to the elements. I did a quick google search and you can find a lot of sites for car covers.

www.calcarcover.com
www.carcover.com

are just a couple.

Good luck and let us know what you end up with and how much they run.

thanks for the link bill. i've been checking out calcarcover.com and they seem to have the best prices so far and more of a selection. I just emailed them to see what they would recommend for my situation, so i'll post what comes out of it.
