Wheels & Tires for Winter, Help?

I was thinking of getting a second set of used wheels and tires for winter, to protect the stock chrome ones. What size should fit. I was thinking of using the same size as the spare tire or maybe finding something on eBay from anothe f150.

Any help is appreciated!

regular 16" f150 rims will work. i'd say go with that and use the same size tire as on the spare so you are at the same height as the stock tires.
My truck sits outside all winter cuz i don't have a garage but i can't come to putting plain ol' rims on it. Looks too weird i think. I try not to drive it in the snow or when they salt the roads, but if i have to, when i get home i just wipe down the rims with a sponge and bucket of water to get any salt spray off. And put a good coat of mothers mag and aluminum polish, or LG on them.

if you do take the rims off to protect the chrome, ya know the nurf bars also come off pretty easily with like 2 or 4 bolts.
