what do you need to contact them for? if its for the HD gift set, you'd contact alan pinter, but why were you going to? I've heard of guys getting them anywhere between 2 weeks to 4 months. If it hasnt' been that long since you got the truck, i wouldn't call right away. just curious

i think alan pinter's number is printed on the side of the box from the gift set and tehre's a pic of that in outnumbered's gallery

A friend of mine bought a used 00 and wants to purchase the Belt Buckle and Deskplate that was offered at the time. I had an 01 HD and already recieved my Keychain and Desk Paper Weight. I dumped my 01 two weeks ago. Had 31k on it with a 4R100 tranny. Had electric problems shift problems and numerous chips on the front end. I drove mine for business and really did not like it much. Looked great, got lots of attention, but was a royal PITA to keep nice and clean. I sell Asphalt Plant components and travel 5 States. MY trucks are for work! That HD was way to pretty to work for a living. Sold it to a collector that has it in a Temp controlled building. Basically I worked for it, it DID NOT work for me. I trade every year anyway and it was 13 months old. It was time for that old girl to GOOOOOOOOOOO!

Wife curbed three of the rims etc etc. My interest is in Harley Bikes!

a few things here:
1. its not a belt buckle, its an emblem that has an adhesive backing so you can stick it on your dash like i did. Its not a paperweight like the 01 and 02's got.
2. it didn't come with a desk plate
3. it came wiht a keychain, owner certificate, and leather giftbox
4. the company that made them for the 00's went out of buisness, thats why the 01 and 02 plaques look different. I've already called and talked to alan about all that, and so has HEMIUK. also the gift pack is only for original owners, so he's just plain out of luck. sorry bout that

Excuse Me. I did not know what the gift was I was repeting what my friend said. Must be a touchy subject. He does not know about this board and I was simply trying to help him.

Didn't know I was going to get my head bit off!

Dont get you shorts in a wad!
nobody is biting your head off, maybe you just took it the wrong way or something. From my viewpoint It looks like #356 was stating everything he knew about the promo stuff, which I took that as being helpful, his reply was to the point, maybe not all rosy, but he did add a smiley!
