SLINGSHOT: How difficult was it to install the Gauge Pod on the A-pillar, and how hard was it to connect the gauges up?

This is something I'd like to do, and I like the prices there, but I don't want to do it blindly.

 

*sheepish grin* I didn't do the install... had the dealer do it. The mechanic said it was pretty straight forward, did have to get it painted black to match the HD interior. They came only in gray when I got mine (designed for the L's).

 

p.s.--HawgGawd--you going to the FFW event in Ennis this month? If so, look for my truck and you're welcome to check out the install.

i ordered mine from lotek about 2 months ago. i havent seen it yet. last time i talked to them (2 weeks ago) they said it was on back order. i thought they made them???? anyway. im going to call tomorrow to see what is going on. i have had to many other problems to deal with lately to call. I would order it from RKkustoms.com they have great service. but i think they only sell it in grey, so i went with lotek. i guess it was a poor decision. Ill let you know when i get it.

Got my Autometer 3 gauge pillar a couple of weeks ago. Presently waiting on fittings to finish install. Pics to follow when I'm done.

Fit is right on. Color is black only AFAIK.
