I did a search and didn't find anything related, so thought I would post this here.

On my new 02 HD F-150 I noticed that the driver side rear view mirror will vibrate when Im up to highway speed (55-75) the passenger side is steady as a rock, but the drivers side is jiggling so much it blurs everything. I checked the housing and it seems solid, but the mirror itself seems to be a little loose, anybody else have this problem?

Yup, I had that same problem too. Mine started to shake around 15K. I just took it back to my dealer and they had me out in 10 min. Its my understanding that some sort-of rubber mount came loose. Btw it was also my driver side.

 

Ive only got 700 miles on mine so far, and I just noticed it.
It goes in to have the hood replaced tomorrow (factory hail damage!) Ill have em check the mirror out while they're at it.

hmm, if i were you, i'd use that as an excuse to get one of these...






anyway, good luck with getting everything fixed.
