Bought Second HD

OK. So it's alittle smaller. I was in SAM's today and had to get it. I will take off the pieces that dont match my 02. Thought you would enjoy it,

oooh, is that new new 1/6th scale HD? I gotta get that one! I have the 1/18th scale 00 r/c truck, and the 1/14th scale 01 HD r/c truck.

if ya want to make it match your truck, i think you need like a 12" drop kit

time to head out to sams club

Yeah, it's the 1/6 scale. If I ever show the truck I thought it would look nice sitting on the bed rug with the tonneau up.

thats just what i was thinking. I enter my truck in a lot of shows and i usually put my 00, 01 , and 02 1/18th scale diecast models on the tailgate or on the radiator cover. Usually don't take my r/c HD trucks, but that one is so big, it should get a little more attention. How much did you pay for it? I heard they are going for around 80 at sams club. I saw one on ebay for 130

thanks

SWEET! yeah, too bad it doesn't come in gray. Too bad the 1/18th scale model doesn't come in black Moreso too bad it doesn't come lowered without the off road tires! be cool if it was like teh 1/6th scale L r/c cars.

anyway, does that have the flame stripe? I still can't tell from pics if its a 01 or a 02 or just a generic HD. Thanks

I saw them at ToysRUs this weekend. They had the 2000, 2001 and 2002 versions.

No, I didn't pay any attn to the scale but they were all the same physical size. The only difference was the 2000 model being an extra cab, and the stripes on the Screws actually matched the model years correctly. They either had the lower stripes, or the flames, for 2001 or 2002.

well i'm pretty sure they are different sizes, because i have the 1/18th scale 00 HD, the 1/14th scale 01 HD, and want to get teh 1/6th scale 02HD. They probably just looked close in size, cuz i doubt they would make the same one in 2 sizes and one a hair bigger or whatever. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks
