Drainholes in doors? Hubcaps?

I've only had my '02'HD for two weeks and was waxing it last night. I noticed that Ford does not expect too much water to get into the doors, saw only two small drain holes with plastic slotted inserts in each door under the weather stripping.

Cleaning these small chrome wheels, I also noticed that the center hub caps(plastic) had small defects from the molding process, a small line(crack?) at the top of the Harley emblem that is plastic chromed over. Some wheels have this longer than others, 1/4" to 3/8", but still very small. I'm not going to worry about it too much, but I'm going to watch it. I bet all the HD's have it...

I have 2 small slots at the bottom of my doors too. they are about 1 1/2 - 2" long and about 1/4" wide. I think that would drain it plenty. Not all that much water is gonna get down the window crack.

Cleaning these small chrome wheels
that was sarcasim right?
just making sure

and maybe a few of the center caps have the defect, but i doubt all of them do. somebody would have caught it. something probably just got in the mold or something.

I didn't notice any defects in my center caps and I have an 02. I was cleaning those 'small' (yes, sarcasm here) wheels today.

And 356, no I did not take them off and clean the back side today. Just did another coat of Zaino on the whole truck.

You all got me feeling guilty now. When I rotate the tires in a month or so I will do the back sides of the rims so I stop hearing ***** from you all!

Thats suprisingly one thing i don't do that often. The backs of the centercaps. But now that you've said something...LoL
Everytime i wash it though i do the back of the rims, and when i rotate the tires i'll do the backs really good with mothers polish and get rid of any tar or marks, and wipe down the suspension. and about once a month during the summer i pull the rims before shows to clean it really well. (hmm, did i make ya feel guiltier so that you'll do it tomorrow? )

In the manual it shows the back straight up to the front, and the front to opposite back sides. I just do front to back and back to front every 10K miles, so once a year. Its just basically your preferance. I have 23K miles on my tires and they are wearing fine. I should get another 20K miles before i need a new set.
