What is the top speed limit on a stock hd?

 

i think its a hair under 130 mph on the 02's, but i may be mistaken. Why don't you just do the digital speedo trick and test it out and see if you can go past pegged

The 01's are programmed to shut down @ 110 MPH

 

So, you are in the gage test mode?? All gages go to full scale. Nifty.

 

yeah and my battery is at full charge and the water pressure is maxed and the truck was off too.
if ya don't realize it, it does that when ya do the digital speedo trick, when scrolling through the settings one of them maxes all the gauges and i snapped a pic.

 

I took mine out for a rip (!!!) on a lonely stretch of pavement a few weeks back and it will do an indicated 130 (210kph) mph. I had the speedo needle stuck against the pin and was still gaining. The fuel shut off when I hit 4000 rpm on overdrive. The truck was stock then, I don't know if my superchip has the shutoff built in. Oh yeah, my speedo is different than the one in the picture-Canadian- it goes to 210K (120 mph).

 

128-130 is all they will do.

As of late last month no-one could turn it off.

I want it off just to have it gone.

125+ is indeed a hair on the wild side in these large trucks.
