WOW!

That's a pretty good deal. I got mine at Joe MacPherson in Tustin about a month ago for $33,680 fully loaded. Would have loved to save another $3k but couldn't wait!

but ur not taking in to account if the vic, is not moving ford will give the dealer a rebate on his invoice price, whitch is the case. i just talked to my dealer here and he told me they gave the dealer 2000$ of the remaing trucks left on thee lots. so they would be making little over 300$ per ur calculations.

Dealer holdback depreciates after 90-days. It is an equivalent fund from the manuf. to help advertise, finance, and sell the vehicle. After 90 days, the amount is fully depreciated and is no longer realized as profit. That $2k still leaves over $750 loss. I have to take my other car up to Irvine BMW tomorrow afternoon. I will stop in Costa Mesa to get you the full story. Over the phone verification is a tactic that gets the consumer to the lot...then similar to a "bait and switch."

Here's the skinny: he could get me one for $37K, but no less. He's never heard of an '02 HD for near that price on his lot. He does have black and shadow gray non-HD supercrews for $30.8K, which is about right. That price is to get you in, and behold, that one was sold or was erroneously mis-stated as a regular supercrew price over the phone. Getting you on the lot is the key. Then they hack away at you. Don't believe it unless you see it for yourself.

Too good a deal to be real! My truck had a sticker of $39,900 and $1,200.00 GPS system. I got it for $36K after a whole bunch of horse trading. I almost ran out of will power and bought the thing for $36,500.

Yep, had to be too good to be true. My local dealer is high volume so they are willing to cut a deal but not for that kind of loss. No Way! No How! Now if Ford starts offering some cash (rebates, dealer incentives, etc.) then you might see the prices come down some but don't hold your breath.

Get 'em while you can.

I just bought mine from Covert Ford in Austin, Sticker on mine was like 37,800 or so, I got it for just below 32. It was about $1700 below "invoice."

They got 24 at once, so they were moving them out... they still have some, if you'd like some contact info, let me know.
