Hey guys has anyone fitted a bed extender on a 00? I finally got mine today in the box 1 bed extender, 2 catches and instructions, all seems well, the instructions say I only need a T50 and ratchet (I don't have a bed liner) look at the pic and it shows three holes on the tailgate shut, no don't got those . Did the H.D.s get a diffrent panel there from regular F150's ? I am worried that there might be a cage nut welded behind the piller if I drill in the wrong place i'm f*%ked, so if someone has had this problem before HELP! Please thanks guys, Dean.

 

I don't know how to help ya here. The beds on the flaresides are different from the ones on the screws though, and the bedextender became an option on the screws, not sure if it is on the flaresides or not. but i know the inner bed walls and stuff by the tailgate on teh inside look different.

i'll be heading out to the dealership tomorrow. If i remember, i'lll ask if the bed extender will fit teh flareside bed (not that they would know anyway )

I think so it's right up there on the list, but we are coming over to the states in October so I will have to work out the finances and check with the guys that ship my stuff for me, I think they ship out of California, so I will have to pay to get it shiped there first. Still had nothing from that Pinter guy if he can't get the stuff or can't be bothered then why not just say so man it grips my s*!t when people do that, sorry to rant

as for alan pinter, i say keep calling/emailing him until you get somewhere. i guess i got lucky for once! LoL thats unusual. called him once and got my second keychain a week later
