Lots Of HD's

I'm not sure if this was covered a couple of months ago, but I ran across this today while looking for something else. Maybe some of you were there?? Nice shot.

http://www.af.mil/photos/images/020626_10.jpg

The caption reads: CHANNEL ISLANDS AIR NATIONAL GUARD STATION, Calif. (AFIE) --About 300 motorcycle enthusiasts and 150 Ford F-150 truck owners gather around a stage to watch the posting of the colors and listen to the national anthem June 23 before the 2nd Annual Tribute to the Toughest. The one-day event is a fundraiser to honor veterans. The base was a starting point and the ride ended at the Veterans Affairs building in Los Angles. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Rod Thornburg) (VIRIN: 020623-F-5407T-035)

That photo is from Tribute to The Toughest. My truck is in the 2nd row in the middle, the one with the hood up. That pic was taken during the Nation Anthem.

WOW thanks for the pic. That was one fine ride to the VA Hospital. From about the mid point of the bikes I couldnt see the front or back of the line (lots a bikes/trucks). 1st time (I think) they have closed PCH and (most) of Sunset Blvd for a ride.

Hey 1JT, did they still have the roads blocked off when the trucks came thru???

Yes, we had a police escort and didn't have to stop for lights or stop signs.
