Help Installing Airforce One

I received my Airforce One today for my 2002 HD The install was going well until the point where I am supposed to install the temp probe into the filter mounting flange. But I cant find the hole for the temp probe. Does anyone have any picture(s) of where the hole is located? I think they have forgotten to do some drilling.

I don't have any pics, but the hole on mine is on the rubber ring on the filter itself. Be careful installing the plastic ring into the opening of the filter as it may rest up against the temp sensor....

Thats where I thought it should be. But they just forgot to drill the hole. I wish I knew the size of the hole, and I could drill it myself. I may just drill the hole 1/16" smaller than the probe, and make sure that it is a tight fit.

Does the probe lock into position by twisting, or is it just a friction fit?

If you look at the probe, it has little plastic "lips" that should go in and engage the other side of the rubber on the AF1. That will hold it in place. When I put mine in with the factory drilled hole, I had to wrestle with it for an hour before I finally got it seated completely. Chewed up my fingertips trying to hold on to that little plasting thingy...

I wet mine and twisted into place being careful not to wet the sensor part.
