Talking AF1 Pics!!!

Well, as said before, here's some pics of before and after with my AF1. Old one came off easy, just undid 2 hose clamps and teh spring clamp on the airbox, and everything else just pulls out. New one went in easy too. Just a few more clamps, and a bracket and its on.

Tube is a little dirty in the pic. Still some finger prints on it and stuff. lol. Anyway, the pics don't do it justice. It looks 100x's cooler in person. Great mod for anybody!

It sounds AWSOME!!!. Not as good as a s/c though . But compared to stock, he!! yes. Exhaust is a little deeper too. But when i rev it, i can hear teh air whoosh in, and the truck really flies when i gun it. I didn't think it'd be that much of a difference but it is. Also, when i shut it off, it like discharges the air out. Sounds sweet I'm thinking about getting a breather cap next. ANybody know where to get one??? Thanks

i got to ride in a silver L today. Fast!!!!

That air intake looks really good. I had a k&n on my last truck it was just the black plastic tube But it made a world of difference. I think K&N makes some breather vents. yeah I'm looking in the book now some with chrome tops. Let me know if you guys need Part #'s

Looks Good!

Quick tip, turn your mass air meter so that the "plug in " it self is on top. Kind of like parallel to the ground but, on the top side. You get a better reading this way.

Thanks for the tip. I wonder why that is though. Does it matter if i put it on the very bottom so it looks cleaner then? I'll change it after they send me the parts they forgot to send in the 1st place
