I see you sold your L for the HD. I'm up in the air on which I want to get next, new L or new HD. I love the look and usefullness of the HD, but am a fiend for the L's power. How much difference powerwise is there between the two? And since you sold the L, does that mean you prefer the HD? I think also, the L may be more in my budget, and don't really need the extra seats. Plus I could still use my bedrug if I got the L.

I sold my Lightning because we have a 1 year old

I loved my Lightning!!! It was very hard to get rid of but I will buy another one with in the next few years.
The Power is the same. You just have about 600 more pounds to haul around
If I had to guess I would say the HD is about a second slower than the Lightnings.
They are two differant trucks all together. If you want a nice ride, a nice interior and some extra room go with the HD.
If you want lots of power, a stiffer suspension and something thats just FUN as HE** to drive go with the LIGHTNING!!!

If your going to mod the Lightning and I highly recommend it.........Say good by to your budget.........LOL

Clonetek ( Lightning owner ) would be another person to ask. He's been playing with his buddies HD for a few months now.
