i went back to the track last night my truck know has
1000 miles on it.i ran 14.27 at 96.90 with no cool down.
14.14 at 97.47 with about a 45 minute cool down,14.08 at 97.88
with an hour cool down and then it rained a little and i
had an 1:15 min cool down but spun bad and ran 14.11 at 98.20
that would of been my 13 sec pass maybe next time!!!!!!!!!!
the first night out my truck had 75 miles on it and ran 14.99 at 93.8.i also installed a chip, 4lb lower pulley and k&n filter.
a 4lb lower on our trucks is really only 2lbs.next week i will put
a upper pulley on and see what happen,maybe an electric fan,
w/pump,and 160 t/stat.

Looks like those few mods have made a great improvement. I would just love to see a big truck like that push down the track for a 14.1, Well just wanted to post my congrats and keep us posted as the mods come... I will soon be up there with ya, bwhahahahha

Do you have all the stats? 60 ft, 1/8th, etc?

I was hoping to see 13.6s or so with the list of mods you have. Have you dynoed to see what you are putting to the rubber?

I will have on my truck by end of day: AF1, 4lb lower, superchip, and breather cap. Hope to run 1/4 on sunday, but I need to install the driveshaft loops and get a helmet for houston raceway park... Don't know if I can get to it or not before sunday.

14.1 at 98 thats not bad i ran 14.1 at 95.9 with just a chip so u picked up like 2.5 mph from the 4lb pulley and the air filter, when u change the uper puley u will have about 12lb of boost total that should help alot, right now im runing 14lb of boost with a chip full exhaust , ram air and i have gon 13.2 at 104.7 but it was hot out , so u should be close to that your 98mph speed shows u should have been able to go about 13.8 or 13.9 your truck is prob making abouot 400 hp right now

 

I hear so many different things about this upper pulley, has anyone actually changed theirs yet. It sounds kinda scary too me, Will a shop do this. If so will the guarantee anything or is it at your own risk type deal? If its a good deal, I would love to see 12# of boost out of these trucks, Got to smoke the brothers L. Hehehhehe.

 

to get 12 lbs of bost u can put either a 4lb lower and lightning uper or just a 6lb lower

 

my best 60ft was 2.08,my truck made 355rwhp w/200
miles on it.it feels better now w/1000 miles on it.
w/1.95 60 ft the truck should run 13.8 to 13.6
after a long cool down the truck spun w/a 2.20 60ft
and still ran 14.11 so we'll see on sunday.btw it
was 89 degrees out and 100%humidity.the air was
very thick!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope my post didn't sound condesending or an insult in any way to your driving, just that I have the same mods now that you do and I am hoping that we are both 13.6-13.7 trucks.... good luck at the track!
