Question Active Ram Air??

Hi All,
I have a question about the hoods and the ram air option. I was thinking of getting either a Cervinis or Keystone hood for my 2001 HD. I dont know if i should get the active ram air option. I have been holding out on an AirForce One or K&N untill i decide. Will i see much gain with an active ram air? Should i just not change the hood and put an AF1 or K&N? What about a cold air induction system? What ones are out there for this truck? What is the best way to go. The ram air option uses the stock air box correct? I am not asking about the looks only the performance side of it. So i guess the question is:

1. Active Ram Air Hood with Stock box and aftermarket filter
or
2. Stock hood with AF1 or K&N.

Thank You in advance...

Active Ram Air Hood !!! Definatley. That way you get the looks and perfomance. Way higher on the cool factor too. I'm going to be getting a cervini's ram air hood soon. Looks awsome! They don't have the ram air kit out yet, but they said in a month they will, so we'll see.

Hmmm, if you and i both get the cervini's, we definately have to meet up sometime. 00 and 01 HD, both with ram air hoods. that would look awsome in a pic!!! LoL

let us know what you decide.

Hey, and cervini's is in vineland, so you may be able to do like me and drive there and save the 130 some bucks and pick it up yourself. I'm not sure how close you are though.

volant makes a cold air induction that seals to the hole in the fender. i think www.truckperformace.com has them. but if you have they money i would go with the ram air hood. as far as the performance gains go, i dont think there would be a noticeable diffrence between the ram air and the cold induction kit. also, the keyston ram air kit is available but the cervinis isnt yet, like 356 said. but i like the look of the cervinis much better. so, whatever you decide, the best of luck to you.
