Damn these trucks are sweet...here's why.

I had sports cars in my late teens early twenties...great fun...lotsa trouble. Finally get married and we need a truck...ok..look at fords and get one. Humm..need more room...dang....time for a nice supercrew. And here comes the 02 HD's...functional (even without a bench), 4 doors, pickup, fast, and beautiful! I still can't get over the compliments a stock pickup gets (Never owned a Lightning)...anyway. I haven't been this happy with a vehicle in years. Everyone from teenagers to old men gawk at it. People in suits or rough looking harley bike riders give you the thumbs up. People in front of you can't keep from looking in the rear view mirror to figure out what the hell is behind them. People point at the truck and smile when you do eventually pass them. You pull up to a movie theater and people look at you like you're driving a Ferrari...simply an amazing truck. I've had it for a little while now and it never ceases to amaze me. I was in the garage cleaning it out and some kids walked by and they were saying "Wow...that's a kickass truck! That looks sweet"! They didn't see me but I just smiled gleefully. I've had 3 people stop by my work to see who drives that thing. They begged to take a sneak peak inside and for me to tell them about it....talk about a conversation starter I also love when you get it valet parked they park it in the fron next to the jags, bmws, vettes, etc....great stuff!I was hooked when I saw a 00 HD...finally joined the club in 02! FORD...keep em coming but keep it limited! Any other observations you guys have?

can't put it much better my friend. The 3 HD series trucks are the best lookin trucks on the road IMO and MANY others, (and the L's are right up there among them). But you better get used to it, i'll have had my HD for 2 years on July 3rd, and the comments, lookers, droolers , etc, etc, etc, don't stop, and are just as plentiful as the day i drove off the showroom floor. Ah, brings back memories. LoL, i can remember that day like it was yesterday. One of the happiest days of my life. Well, enough of that, but yes, these trucks are beautiful!!!! You could even change the name of the thread to just "HD thought's" because they apply to all of em. The 02's may have more hp, but even the 00, and 01's, can move pretty good, and they are ALL awsome trucks.
