Question Fram Sure Drain

Was watchin speedvision today (dreamcar garge) and there was a commercial on for the fram sure drain. If you haven't seen it, it replaces your oil bolt with a different one that is like a valve thing, and the oil comes out when you screw on the drain tube so you dont get "burnt by the hot oil". Just wondering if anyone had this. I don't plan on getting one, its not that hard to unbolt the plug , i was just curious as to if anybody used it.

Have any of you guys with the 02's tried to change your own oil yet? That oil filter is a mother to get out. Its like a friggin puzzle. LoL

Harley#356,

I have replaced my oil drain plug with a fumoto valve the first time I changed my oil. I have this oil drain valve on all of my vehicles and find it to be easy to use. It has a brass body with a stainless steel ball valve that is operated by a lever. Check out the website at: http://www.fumotovalve.com

As far as the oil filter, it has been repositioned to be right beside the drain plug hole and is very easy to remove and install.
