'02 HD eye candy.

I am looking at getting some parts for the '02 HD. Hell, it's almost two weeks old it's about time I think!!!

What I am looking at is:

If you have the "2002 Ford Accessories" catalog they are #104, #108, #109 and #102 respectivly.

The question is where to buy?

I called www.GEFRacing.com and they were asking list or MORE on some of these items. I know that there has to be somebody out there selling below MSRP.

    HELP!

P.S. Also looking into getting a Bed Rug and a Leer cover... anyone know somebody within a resonable drive from Memphis?

    Thanks!

I didn't think the molded spalsh guards would work up front because of the nurf bar getting in the way. I've heard a few people say they got em and they didn't work. And that the rears worked but didn't fit too good. Let me know though. I hope they work, i wanna get front guards cuz the nurf bar is taking a beating from tar and rock chips

I have the HD bugshield and it looks great. Also protects my hood from rock chips. Some people say they don't think it works for bugs, but i think it does.

Are the HD All-Weather Vynil Floor mats that you're talking about like these? I got em at pepboys for like 20 bucks and they work great and look cool. I got the front and rear.

for the HD Full Front Cover (Bra), where are you getting that at? I only knew of one guy that had them (something like hrd2getthese?) I knew ford made one, but i didn't think it covered the bumper. Here's the pic of mine that i use for trips and heading to shows. Fits like a glove, was a great price and looks great (for a front end cover) Well good luck gettin all your stuff. Let us know how you make out.

I got mine from the ford dealer. Its even got a little HD logo in the middle. Fit and finish is great. Cost me like 80 bucks. Ya might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere, but it was my 1st mod, other than wheel locks, so i just got it from the dealer. Some have had problems with it rubbing the paint off the top of the grille surround in two little spots, but even if it does, you wouldn't be able to see it unless the hood was open, and its easily advoided by adjusting your hood bump stops up front a little so it doesn't touch. No rubbing here and its been on for 2 years. I've seen it on a gray HD before too, and it looks great on that color. I didn't think it would cuz the color difference, but i was wrong. Looks cool on both colors.

here's a different angle, looks even better with out the bra on though, but i don't have any other close up pics uploaded yet with out the bra on. Matches the hood lines perfectly. Post pics if and when you get one. Hope this helped

So with the lack of responces am I to understand that everyone is paying MSRP at the dealers for these items?

    Nobody has bought a Bedrug?

    Hmmm...

Zinc-Zag, i've heard 40 bucks for the rear molded splash guards from the dealer. I don' think the fronts will work unless they are the flat type. (you can get those at pepboys for 20 bucks)

I think you can only get the bugshield from ford cuz its a HD product. around 80 bucks.

I got my HD floor mats from pepboys (20 bucks for front, and same for rear)

I got the bra from Hrd2gethese@aol.com for 1/2 price cuz it was only used once. Couldn't pass that up. 130 for a new one. Still pretty cheap and it fits great. Custom made just for the HD air dam. Just email him, and tell him Josh Verdieck with the 00 HD that just bought a bra sent ya. He might cut out shipping charges for ya. Better hurry though cuz i don't think he has many left. But this thing works and fits and looks great. There are more pics of it in my gallery 2000F150HD.

I hope this helps you guys out. O yeah, a few people on here have bed rugs, i wanna get one, but 300 bucks is alot to spend right now for it.

let me know what you guys decide

I got a bedrug. Bought it somewhere online. Just did a search for the cheapest price. I highly recomend. Very nice looking. Practical unless you intend to haul horse crap around.

bedrugs ROCK! chicks dig them! i've had a couple ask me if i need any help "breaking it in". LOL

takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to install the bedrug.

zip the bedrug together & lay it out in the sun to help it lay flat,
then take out your tie-downs & clean the inside of the bed with rubbing alcohol. (only where the velcro goes..
put bedrug in, and put in the velcro strips, then reinstall the tiedowns over the bedrug.

    thats it!

no problem 2000F150HD. Glad to help out another member when i can. The bra fits great and doesn't rub. He said he takes it off every two weeks and puts in on tumble in the dryer to knock any dirt off. And then 303's the outside of it. I've only used it a few times so i've only ran it in the dryer once, and i gotta find some 303 somewhere. I've gotten alot of compliments it also. . I'm thinking about getting the mirror bra's too cuz those big mickey mouse ears are bug magnets. . Let me know how you make out.

o yeah, i checked out RK's price on the rug, they were asking 330 and no shipping. Someday i'll get one

Yeah, what Clonetek said. Just take your time, because once it sticks, it's STUCK!

(P.S. does anyone notice that while typing out messages on this board, the format doesn't "recognize" what you're typing fast enough? Or am I just Superman, and no program made by man can keep up with my immense speed? Below will be an example of what I mean (I will type at normal speed, and make NO corrections)

Test: I am Mke, I own a 200 Hrley Edition F-150. I am riting a test t sho that the program cannot pick up the typing fast enouh ad I fnd i rather annoying.

Hah, see? Anybody else have this problem?
