Watch out!

I was washing my truck this morning and noticed the rubber seal to the rear slider was hanging down. I NEVER open this window, and here is the seal coming apart. I took it to the dealer and they said they may have to replace the entire window!! Check yours out.

Sorry to hear that baddgene... but don't feel left out. My roommate and I both have Lightnings and his rear window seal did the same thing. I hope they take care of you like they did for my roommate! Good luck! Keep us posted.

Had mine on my '00 HD replaced last summer. Noticed it was sagging in on the passenger side. I too have the slider. Done under warranty, no questions asked. I have my windows tinted all the way around (way too dark, but I'll take my chances), didn't the ******** who changed the seal gouge the tint in the window behind the driver's side ...@#$%*! didn't even tell me he did it. I know I would have gotten the old "Sorry dude I didn't know I did it" routine, so I just left it alone. The shop who does my tint is run by a biker and that's his only gig. Best around, lifetime warranty. Haven't been out to get it fixed yet but won't be a problem. Don't wait on gettin' that seal replaced, I wanted to drive around with the new one for a while. Make sure the jackass put it in right! Good luck...

I guess its a very common problem...

Justin from JDM showed a couple of L owners that were left at our Willowbrook Meet (he came to the meet very late, LOL-- typical, lol) that its happening on his truck too, and he's got a 2001 JDM test mule! hehe

Warranty is a good thing in this case!
