Question Part Number Please...

Hi All,
Can someone please give me the part number for the LOWER VALANCE Bumper GRILL for the 2000 HD. I would like to replace the dull black one that came on the '01 to the Chrome one on the '00. I called some Ford Dealers today and they were CLUELESS.
Thanks in advance.

Talking

hey! sorry I don't have a part # for you but I can certainly agree that the local dealers are useless!!!

I went to Pistilli Ford in Paramus and Elmwood Ford in my town to buy a Police Interceptor Honeycomb Grill, (since my 98 came with a Crhome one - non-honeycomb) and guess what they told me? The Police Interceptor parts cannot be sold to Civilians... I started laughing so hard there my stomach was hurting!

I went online and made a deal with a distributor in Indianapolis, bought a grill from him for $45 bux including shipping, and send him over 35 customers that also bought at least one grill for their cars.... how awesome, LOL... and to think that it would have cost me $110 from a dealer that refused to sell it in the first place...

good luck!

the discription says-

Ebony(black)-includes lower grill(2000)-retail $561.30.

The only way I see the lower grill listed is with the bumper cover, but I don't know if that is correct.

i don't think thats right. I believe he wants the 00's chromed lower grille. If you know where a part number is on the grille Harley2001NJ, i can crawl underneath and try and find it for ya. I don't know why ford stopped putting on the chrome lower grille after 00. It doesn't look as good without it.

I think www.karkraft.com might have one, but i'm not sure.

good luck finding it

Thank You Harley#356. That is EXACTLY what i am in need of. I looked under mine and read off the numbers to the Ford Parts guy(like I said b4...NO CLUE!) and he said it kept comming up black. I explained to him that it comes up black because I AM READING THE # OFF OF MINE THAT HAS A BLACK ONE and i need the one for the '00 model year that was chrome. If you could #356 go under your truck head first facing up (sounds funny) and look to the left side of the lower grill (that is where the P/N was on mine) and let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Adman

That is not the part #. That is a stamping #. I pluged that # into my Ford computer & it don't cross to a part #.

I will call into Ford for you to get the correct #.

OK, I just got off the phone with Ford. The only way to get the lower grill is to get the intire cover. So, the part # & price in my earlier post was correct.

Sorry for the news, maybe there is an aftermarket place that makes it.

Maybe F150rebuilder (SP?) knows where to find one in the junk yard.
