I love it. I got a speeding ticket 2 wks ago for 65 in a 30 and decided to drop the points w/ traffic school. ONLINE!! Its great. For those of us who have sat 4hrs in a room w/ some idiot telling us to slow down, It gets kinda boring. I just log on and sign in while at work or home and time just starts adding up. The test at the end is a joke. 40 questions and you only have to get 20 right. But dont worry, a 12 year old can get them right. But if you have a problem you can just go back to the reading sections and scan till you find it. The best $20 buck ever spent. Anyways I just GRADUATED. Im a certified new man. I learned to watch out for the cops hiding in the buschs. Sneaky Devils!! If you can do it I recommend it. I mean, if you are unfortunate enough to have to do it.

UGH! Glad you liked that school man, my dad went to the actual school and sat with the idiot telling him to slow down and even after getting the certificate for graduating it, the insurance company was not too eager to drop the points as quickly as they added them on.


Personaly I think many cops are just ridiculous.

I had a court date last Thursday, for a ticket I got. Check this out. After coming back from JDM headquarters ( we were supposed to have a big meet but it rained, I still went to say Hello to Jim and the rest of the people and left ) well I met up with my friends in the MALL... while driving in the parking lot, a cop pulled me over and tells me I RAN a stop sign. I told him: " I absolutely did NOT! " he proceeds to tell me that I didn't come to a complete stop, and gave me a Whopper of a ticket made out for: 'Careless Driving' (just because I denied it, if I would of lied and told me: "I'm sorry officer, I ran the stop sign" he would of let me off with a Warning... but I don't lie, go figure!)


So anyway, I was afraid that I'll get points for it so I went to court, went ahead to talk to the prosecutor and he was an even bigger ***** than the cop... I started telling him how I did not deserve a ticket, and he was like: " Look I could care less how it happened, the power of law gives me the right to reduce your punishment to 'Unsafe Driving' which is a more expensive ticket but no points" seeing that there was absolutely no chance for me to get that charge dropped I told him thats cool with me, I'll pay up just don't give me the damn points...


$180 bux later, and two good tires wasted doing a major burnout while leaving the Municipal Building, I went straight to the Car show (Edison Cruise Night) and bitched to my friends there how I got dissed.... so much for having an ex-cop car as a daily driver, can't catch any break, I got the worst luck ever!


anyway, you guys be careful on the road, a lot of cops are real pigs!!!

ever notice how they are never around when 3 cars go through the yellow light and two more run the red when you are trying to turn left ? or never around when the ricer is weaving in and out of traffic at 80mph ? or when grandma is getting ready to enter the highway at 15mph ? or when some jackazz is driving through your neighborhood at 2am with the stereo thumping so loud it rattles your windows and has the dogs barking for the next 2 hours ? or stop you at a DUI check point and question why you think you need to carry a gun even if you do have a permit ? or only two of them working while 200 people stand in line at the DMV ?

 

ONLINE TRAFFIC SCHOOL isn't that easy.

I had to take it twice.
The first time, I wrecked my monitor and the bill from MAACO was nearly $300

Has anyone tried to use the mirror mount made for Corvettes/Valentine One on a HD? I have one one my 2000 Vetteand it works great. I expect my '02 HD next week!

 

How do you fail online traffic school? I just clicked "Next" on each page until I got to the quiz at the end of each section. I answered all to the best of my ability. When I missed a few, I just clicked the "back" button, found the answer in the module, clicked "forward" (to get back to the question section), and clicked the correct answer(s). What a "cheese!" It took me 20 minutes using that method. I will be doing that again in July/Aug. timeframe (got another ticket about 2 weeks ago - was at 107mph, but CHP asked me and I said "70-75 average, until you clocked me in that one period," so he wrote it for 75mph...phewww!). I'll try to use the trial by written declaration. If I lose, I'll use the Calif. request for new trial and then choose traffic school under the rules of the new trial (most states won't let you choose traffic school if you lose a trial). I understand that this new trial request "should" reinstate my option for traffic school. I will take a trip down to the traffic court to find out exactly (and ask a lawyer). I was able to get out of my ticket 2 year ago using T.B.W.D.

I was going to use all my "tricks" on that ticket. Went to court in hopes he would not show, but I saw him in the lobby. So, I immediately went to the clerk and requested TBWD. Got my forms, typed up my detailed declaration and mailed it in. A month later, I got back my bail money and a letter stating my case was thrown out. It was either due to my detailed description and diagrams (not likely) or the cop was too lazy to write his declaration. They can't just resubmit the police report, just as if they were in court. It's easier for me to type it up and send it in that it is for me to go in and try to recite the entire defense.

 

I didn't have any problem answering the questions. It was the 'behind the wheel' I flunked. I didn't have anything for the game port and had to do the behind the wheel with the numeric keypad. You can't just hold down the '4' key to turn left. You have to hit it repeatedly, while that stupid voice is on the speakers saying..

"You are on the curb...
Warning, you are on the curb...

Unable to continue...
You have killed or dismembered .....5...... pedestrians..."

 

Yeah , and Raoul got his ticket for doing 80mph in a 30mph zone on a chipped & blown Murry ridding mower !

 

HAHAHA, Raoul are you serious? You took a Driving class like a video game. I only got to take BS read and answer questions test. Yours sounds much funner. I think cyber is right on this one, Your full of S Hi T arent you?

Florida is much worse.
My cousin in Florida took the exam which was just punching holes in cards.

He followed the directions as best he could but, he still ended up riding around with Pat Buchanan.
