The sway bar really wasn't that hard, the instructions looked like they had been copied 4,000 times. Once we figured it out, it was easy. If anyone decides to tackle this little project, we can answer your questions. The sway bar cuts down on the curve lean about 75-80%.

Sway Bar - Which One?

Are you using a Lightning rear sway bar, or???

Do you have the part number for this assembly? Thanks.

Just curious? Would the L sway bar be a bolt on or not?
Yeah, I know ones a reg. cab, and ones a S-crew, but what's the real difference in the frame at the rear? Seems to me it might be easier. I'm sure the factory bar would be more $$$ though...

Clonetek...I noticed that you have a 00L...if that's the case you have a DAMN clean looking under. If it's a 00 do you use it as your daily driver?

What was the part number for the sway. Helwig offers a few types depending on the amount of drop you have. Our HD's are an inch lower than stock, plus a 2" shakle, would make 3" down from a stock F150. Did you use the 2" drop sway or the 4" drop sway??

We used the standard sway bar! We couldn't tell a difference, the sway mounts forward of the axle. The front of the spring is not lowered just the back by 2 inches.

On the lightning it mounts in the back of axle which might make a difference.
