Waxing the 'oo tonneau

With Memorial weekend coming up I'm thinking of waxing the cover. What has everyone used and with what kind of success? Any recommendations?

Thanks

I used Zaino on my old vette and tried it on the HD with outstanding success. The finish on a ford is so much better than a gm.

The website iswww.zainobros.com

wow, please tell me Kingie you've waxed the tonneau before and this isn't the 1st time unless you just got it like a month ago. They told me to wait 3 months, but i only waited 2 cuz i figured the time in shipping since the cover was made would be enough, and everything turned out fine. (i got my cover last august, drove 2 hours home from vacation to pick it up...LoL) anyway, I use liquid glass. You've probably heard me ranting about this stuff before, but its the best stuff out there. It contains NO wax cuz wax can be slightly abrasive or something like that. Here's a pic of the bottle (20 bucks a can) and a pic of my tonneau cover. I have 4 coats on the tonneau now and 12 on the truck itself. The more coats you put on and let bake onto the finish, the more protection, shine, and reflectivity. If you have recently waxed your truck, you'll have to get the liquid glass precleaner to get rid of the old wax, so the new glass can bond onto your paint right, other wise it won't stick. It applies like regular wax, and is clear coat safe. And also these pics don't do justice to the shine on my truck. I get people all the time asking me what kinda wax i use, then they get this confused face when i tell them that i don't use wax, i use glass.

BTW, got any pics?

Let us know what you decide to use

#356,
That has been the only product I remember using or seeing in the garage since I was a little boy. Course other products might work great also but, why change for what already works?
