Hey i was wondering if you can buy 2002 flame stripe and put it on the 00 thought it might look good. Thanks.

 

harleykid19, i was thinking the same thing until..... i saw the flame in person. I don't think it would fit if you have the Leer HD tonneau unless you lower the flame on the bed side, then it might end up sitting on the top of the fender flare. I also am not very fond of the quality of the flame pinstriping. Dont get me wrong, it looks bad @$$ from a distance, but up close you can see the whiteish edges of the sticker, and it sticks out on black trucks. I'd say get them painted on if you go for it. Better quality, and also the stripes cost 200 bucks a side. But who knows how it will look until somebody does it to the 00. let us know what you decide.

 

I think you would be better off painting them on. I think $400 for the set is crazy.

 

yea 400 dollars does seem a little steep. Do you guys know were to buy the stripes, prob from a dealer? Yea i do have the hard cover so the stripe may not look good, but i will check it out. How much do you think it would cost to paint the flames on? Thanks guys.
