Lightbulb Hey Hdf150painter!

I just realized that you are from Russellville. That's crazy! Oh yeah sweet hood, we'll have to meet up sometime in town. Now with that hood I can pick you out and run you down! Still think that it's crazy that somebody else with an HD on the boards is from around here!

Harleyboy,

Do you have any pix of your HD. I'll like to see your tonneau and ventvisors.

Mystery Fan, i'm sure you don't mind if i post mine. Have the same year as Harleyboy does, and have the same tonneau and ventvisors. The ventvisors fit great, and let you leave your window cracked when parked or when raining.
you can kinda see the vent visors in this pic

here's the reflection of my tonneau. its even shinier in person though.

no problem Mystery Fan. Are you gonna get the ventvisors? I love em. 2nd thing i bought for the truck (1st was wheel locks). Well i didn't actually buy the vent visors. I got em at pep boys and had them sitting on the counter along with teh rest of my stuff i was buying. Well the cashier was busy talking w/ some other person about her son and she rung everything up except for the visors. she bagged it up, total was i think 18 dollars, and i just walked out with free ventvisors worth 50 bucks. Not my problem if they hire idiots that don't realize that they are giving away 50 dollar vent visors and charging me like 18 bucks for the can of glass and a few rags that i bought and not realizing her mistake. that made my day

let us know when ya do get pics up harleyboy

I called around today about a hard tonneau, It looks like I'm getting a Leer 700. Also, went by one of our favorite graphics people and let her do a rub on my center cap. I'm going to have a harley decal made to fit in the center cap. I'll post a pix later in the week.

And yes, after a few black vehicles, the vent visors are definitely a must. Great to vent in the summer especially down here in bayou country.

Exclamation Sweet Hood!

I saw your truck at Sorrell's Body Shop the other day so I stopped and checked out that hood, looks very MEAN! I like it a lot! I also saw your door sanded down, kinda sad but I'm sure they did a good job of fixing it. Good Luck

Hey Hdf150painter, i've got a painting question for ya. I've was painting flames on my trashcan, and was wondering after i tape it out, and cut out the flames, when i paint it, should i wait until its dry to peel the tape off? or do it when the spray paint is still wet. It looks pretty cool, but the edges started to peel up in some places when i was taking the tape off, so i was just wondering. Thanks
