can someone tell me what the actual weight of the 02 HD is? maybe someone here has had their 02 on the scales?

Base curb weight is listed at 4697 lbs. Don't know the actual weight.

My shipping weight for delivery shows 4604.

 

thats really strange.. i have a lightning, and it weighs over 4800 lbs..
have you actually went & weighed your truck on some scales?

i just don't see how ford can say a 4 door truck weighs less than a 2 door truck.. thats odd.

 

All I know is that these trucks rock !!!! Regardless of what they weigh. Lots of smiles for the miles

I have not weighed my HD, but my guess is ~5200 lbs. I saw a recent magazine test for a KRF-150 2WD and they quoted the weight at just short o 5200. I figure with the blower and other HD stuff, the weight will be a little more that the KR. Later.

 

Actually, I would think that the HD would weigh less than the King Ranch because of the 4X4 components.

 

Just took my 02 to the scales this week and it was 5225.

 

The question was asked 22 years ago...............................

 

Back in 2003-4 I weighted mine at the Palm Beach race track scale and it showed 5750 lbs (full race weight). But that included me (about 250 back then) and a nice heavy ******* bed lid (+/- 200lbs). So i guess 5225 to 5300 may be accurate.
