Lightning w/ Engine conversion

Does anyone remember where this thread was where an L owner swap his L engine for a larger engine. I can't seem to find it...so if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

If you're talking about that red 'L' from Florida I think it was, he slapped in a 514cu motor that was a sweet looking fit. That was posted on the 'L' forum last week. So maybe go back about 20 pages or so, or do a search on "That's a real nice engine upgrade" for a thread search. I pretty sure that was the thread name to it. Something along those lines anyway. The thing was pushing like 618hp and 590ish torque. Crazy cool. Hope that helps.

Damn!!!! That is one HUGE engine...I never knew our engine bays could fit something like that.

Thanks for the reply!

No kidding. Looks like it's meant to be, with that engine in there so nice and tight-like. Good to know that there's engine-swap options out there that work with our trucks. Think maybe a nice 8-71 blower would go pretty good with that set up too, sticking out of the hood. Booo yeah. If only I had the cash. Actually if I did, I'd probably be dead by now, peeled off the asphalt, or picked out of a tree.
