02 HD & Johhny Lightning track time!

Just got off the phone with Johnny and he said that one of his customers with the new HD equipped with his chip, dual ram air and 5lb pulley ran a 13.50 @101. Not to shabby! Man I hate being stock!

Those are some great times. I wonder if that was on street tires ?

That is pretty much were I want to be right now, so it looks like it won't take much to get there.

5lbs...doesn't sound too safe for an everyday driver

I wonder what 2lbs could pull.

Thats really only like adding a 3lb. pulley, since we HD owners are down approx. 2lbs.(due to larger upper pulley). So I think that really would be a mild combo.

And With this truck so heavy I dont want to go much faster !!! j/k

On Pump Gas??

+5 PSI pulley, etc = 13.5 / 101:

- Was this on 93 octane gas? Or 100+ octane racing fuel?

- How much additional boost is safe on pump gas?

- Does our motor have a knock sensor to pull timing out if detonation is detected?

- At what point do you have to add more fuel: bigger injectors and fuel pump?

- I see no mention of changing the exhaust system. I guess that's one of the trivial many rather than vital few for power increases. Thanks.
